LOOK OVER THE WALL.
A woman passed by a great city surrounded by an imposing wall. The wall was high, seamless, and built from the strongest materials—standing tall as a testament to its purpose. She wondered, What could be so valuable within this city that it required such a remarkable fortress?
Walls serve dual purposes: they protect what’s within while guarding against dangers from without. As we step into a new year, let us reflect on the significance of the walls in our lives—both what they shield and what they can prevent.
Consider these truths:
• Doing nothing results in nothing.
• Fear will conceal your potential.
• Clinging to what you have can hinder growth.
God often brings blessings to our doorstep, but it is up to us to open the door and invite them in. While we pray for solutions, trust that He not only hears but also answers in ways that will not fail. With His leading, we can take confident steps forward, knowing He guides us through every part of the journey.
The walls remind us of this unshakable truth: the Lord is our fortress. He is a strong tower; the righteous run to Him and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10) As we face the new year, may we trust Him to be our refuge and boldly step into the blessings He has prepared for us.
Don’t let your fear stop you from looking over the wall to see what God has in store.
